Sumter County Chairman, Samantha Scott, announced that the Sumter County Republican Party is sponsoring a table for Sumter County young Republicans at the Republican Party of Florida’s 2023 Statesman’s Dinner to be held on September 14 in Orlando.
Among some of those students will be representatives from Turning Point South Sumter High School.
“Sumter County young Republicans represent the future leaders of our Party here in Sumter County, and statewide. That is why the Sumter County Republican Party is proud to sponsor their attendance at this important event,” Scott said.
The 2023 Statesman’s Dinner is a fundraising opportunity to get county committee members and general party supporters more involved and engaged in the campaign and activism process.
Ben Shapiro, host of the Ben Shapiro Show daily podcast, will be the keynote speaker. Joining him will be Sen. Rick Scott, Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nuñez, Attorney General Ashley Moody, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, and Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson.
