Florida Has the Best State Economy in America: CNBC

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — One of the most Left-leaning media outlets in America ranked Florida’s economic profile No. 1 among all 50 states. CNBC’s Top States for Business rankings placed Florida at No. 8 overall and gave the state top billing for overall “Economy.” In addition to its “A+” economic ranking, Florida’s workforce and infrastructure also scored “B” ratings.

The rankings scored states based on ten metrics, including: “Workforce,” “Infrastructure,” “Education,” “Cost of Living,” “Business Friendliness,” “Access to Capital,” “Economy,” “Technology & Innovation,” “Cost of Doing Business” and an undefined “Life, Health, & Inclusion.”

Given the network’s social and political slant, the latter grade likely dings Florida for its war on “woke ideology.” The Left have turned the word “inclusion” into a euphemism for the intersectionality paradigm, which categorizes people as inherently “oppressors” or “victims” based on categories like skin color, gender and sexual preferences.

The rankings utilized economic data from the following sources: U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Federation of Tax Administrators, American Petroleum Institute (including 18.40 cent/gallon federal tax), Moody’s Investor Service and S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Last week, consulting firm Venture Smart ranked Florida as the top state for small businesses.
